Another question...we will be rolling in tomorrow afternoon...should we go to Blue Turtle Bay when we get there, or straight to Shutes to launch the boats? 37 AT and 42 Fountain...

Oh...and if somebody wants to come along with us for the lunch run on Thursday...its just my wife and I on the boat. Find the short guy with the bad influence tattoo and you might win a prize, lol....

I dig that...but what I mean is...will we be able to then drive over to Blue Turtle and get a spot? Or should we stop there first and loudly announce our arrival and try to annoy everyone?

It will also be awesome to familiarize myself with the Shutes area...as it would seem they have a mountain bike trail right there...and I just happen to be bringing exactly such a two-wheeled conveyance to shred said trail on Thursday and Friday mornings...

Last year there were really no assigned spots, everyone just seemed to tie off where ever they could & was little to no issues I seen.

we put a 42 fountain in last year and blue turtle bay. just make sure you stay to one side of the ramp because it drops off on one side, cant remember which side it is unless they have fixed it.

And why is people scared of rain, your in a boat, it gets wet. Stay safe and have a good time, we have the past 3 years. Chad puts on a great event.

I was caught in the rain Sunday with no eye protection (running boat over to the ramp 1 mi.) It was not fun, couldn't see, then I scratched my boat on the dock.

Are we parking truck and trailer at Blue Turtle, or at the "parking spot" that has been marked on the map?
