I would love to be able to find him a seat/bolster to make the Chicago Run, or even just a couple stops on his home turf. (He can have his Wife pick him up somewhere.) Gas, beer. food, etc. etc., covered without question. Thank you all very much. |

Re: The Chicago Poker Run
Wished I could make it for The Chicago Poker Run with all you good people----it sounds like a lot of fun, but I believe your poker run is on the same weekend as the Northern Fun Run up on Lake Charlevoix and I have been wanting to boat up there for several years now. Anyway, sounds like you (Dan, Mark, and Steve---and whoever else is involved) have a good thing going on with your new boat club (Chicago Boat Club).

I might have room with me.....BZ |
Re: The Chicago Poker Run
Brian,
I don't have any spare seats for the Poker Run. I would be willing to give your Dad a ride some other weekend. Maybe catch a flight out here and I could give your Dad and yourself a ride one weekend. Just an idea. Keep checking this thread someone may have room for the Poker Run. Dan 708-218-1566 |
Re: The Chicago Poker Run
I spoke to Brian, and it looks like his dad will be joining us. Since several of you have full boats already, we will have extra seats available for anyone that is unable to run their boat. Just let me know, the same goes for the June 25th run.

Re: The Chicago Poker Run
Everyone,
THANK YOU so much for your hospitality. I would love to do some boating in the Chi-town area one day, however, I am afraid I would be boat-sick without my own. If I do make a Run, it would be last minute, and I will look some of you up. Donna, I passed your number to my Father, Tom a few minutes ago. I encouraged him to join you all on the fun run on 25 June as well. I think the BT will be just his and his wife's speed, and if he feels froggy, I am sure he will look for one of you faster scooters up there. He is an avid member of two of the Chicago Corvette Clubs, so he knows how things work. Perhaps you all can convince him to join COPS. Thanks again everyone, and if you find yourselves in DC, look a brother up. |

Friday there will be people at the harbor all day to assist boats arriving to launch and find dockage. We will also be doing registrations. We will have a welcome reception on Friday evening at the hotel. Saturday morning is breakfast, drivers meeting and the run. We will serve lunch midway through the run and the awards dinner is Saturday evening till ??? Sunday the casino does have a brunch buffet but that is not included in the entry fee. |

Re: The Chicago Poker Run
Mike, you are going to need crown control. There are so many people excited about seeing one of the best boats in the world.
Over 40 of our club members were at a poker run this weekend and we had a blast. A fun bunch of people to be with. I brought a whole stack of Chicago Poker Run applications and ran out. I recruited 20+ boats to this run and all were very excited about the Resorts Casino and the location of the event. Just park the truck and have fun. Rich Troppoli, thanks for all of the help for making this great event even better. Mark Smith |
