I dont know what the result was on that. It was a fair way off the course, into a swimmers area. And the German Coast guard told us at every meeting to stay out of this area at all costs. I believe they got on plane in this area instead of idling out of it and then going. Thats what got them. So I heard...
It is a shame as it will be a good showdown in Cowes, Its our home race, 1 hr from where both me and James were born.
I cant wait for some real english choppy waters, to show how a Fountain really performs.
I am glad this series has made it to OSO, as it really is a fantastic organization! I will make sure I get our PR girl to update you guys immed. after races even if P1 Website is updated within minutes. Also there is live radio, like talkoffshore you can listen to for every race. Just go on website on race days.

.
It's also the home race for the yet untried but potentially competitive Carr-Sinclair-Pascoe Raceteam Skater team. What do you think of their chances?

I heard his boat is not ready so he is going to SBI New York race. May have changed.
However, I truly believe, that if they stick to the rules and have the same power to weight ratio as us, without engine failures etc... we cannot be beaten. The Fountain/Arneson combunation realy is that good. James won in the Skater last year and he says the Fountain is so boring to drive. It never does anything unexpected.
I'm not being Cocky, please dont get me wrong, thats not who I am.
But how cool is it to finally have Fountain, Skater, Outerlimits and Donzi on the same race course in the same class!! And to add to the list...Mr. Fabio Buzzi. WOW
Great racing, great competitors, GREAT FUN.

Craig, congrats to you, your team, your boat manufacturer, your engine manufacturer and your choice of Arneson Surface Drives.

I like to read success and someone HONEST with no objectives tell it like it is.

Your team shows what talent and determination can produce over what "Hype" wish they could achieve.

Sharkey if OuterLimits does not win why do you always think the other team is cheating the engine? Seriously just wondering out loud here.

What is the deal? Why is it some people can't except getting beat? And when they get beat they assume your cheating? It seems to ingrained in some. It seems to me after being fortunate enough to race Fountains and the Skater V it comes down to preparation and experience. The best boat doesn't always win but they best team does. A thousand things have to go right to win and halve of them is in preparation.

Did I accuse anyone of cheating ?

I only asked what practices are set in place to prevent it?

This still has gone unanswered ?
