Default 33 PP Props

Anyone try a set of Hydromotives compared to labbed Bravos?? The previous owner of my boat has a set. He said the top end was better but getting on plane suffered.

I've got 28 pitch hydro's on my 33 and I really have to feather it comming out of the hole or the props will cavitate and i will have to back down and start over. I have not tried any other combo as these were on the boat when i bought it so i have nothing to compare it to.

cowisl, what year is your boat and with what power?

By the way, did you get squared away with the EAO switches?

I have a 1995 28 with 300 promaxes... I know its not a 33, but these props spinning in make the boat scream. THanks for your help with the switches, we finally got them fixed.

Active, I've used both. Every boat is different, and every prop is different. The bravo prop is probably a better choice. In stock form they are slow, but labbed they have about the same top end, maybe better if worked for your boat. The bravo has a better cruise speed and is a little more stable at high speeds. I would try any props I could though if he will loan them to you. Good Luck. Don

Indy. I am spinning out with 32 labbed bravos and about 700hp per side. I have never tried spinning in on this boat. I am very happy with the ride and handling of the boat at any speed or water condition!
