Re: Is this the 23 Powerplay from T. Mason
Tom Mason Bought Powerplay at the bankruptcy auction of Powerplay about two years ago. Tom Mason sold Midnight Express last April. The 23 was a pet project of Tom and his son, Tommy. They are going to be selling the 23 O/B Sportdeck, 33 I/O Sportdeck, 33 O/B Sportdeck, 33 I/O Center Console, 33 O/B Center Console, 38 O/B Sportdeck, and 38 I/O sportdeck.
You really need to see the new 23 in person before you pass any judgement. The hull is based on a classic, great riding design with some very innovative modern features. An intregrated transom with boarding steps on both sides; retractable boarding ladder; hydraulic rear bench; flip-up center-dash for easy cabin access; ample cockpit storage; the best hardware available; Mercury Verado power; non-skid around the entire perimeter for safe boarding; flexi-teak in the cockpit; GPS, VHF, Stereo, are just some of the features.
This is a boat with such class it raises the bar for Powerplay. The future of Powerplay should be considered very bright by many of you who own, have owned, and will own them. Tom will always do what he says, so look forward to what Tom and his son, Tommy will do with this company.
