OopSeaDazey,
I love people who ATTACK without the FACTS! Cobra 725's, from what I've been told, red line at 6000 RPM. The first day the 38' went out they had 34" props with 1.5 gear ratio. The engines would not spin higher than 5000 RPM and the boat ran just over 90 MPH. Now drop down 2-3" of pitch and now you can get these motors into the torque band where theyshould be. With that RPM the boat should run in the mid to upper 90's.
BUT, OopSeaDazy if you have more accurate information PLEASE feel free to enlighten us? Robbie
PS for what it is worth, the boat is heavyer (SP) than I had hoped for!!!!

DEFY'N GRAVITY when is your boat going to be completed ? When we visited the factory, we were really impressed. Dan and Bosco were great hosts. In fact PP just sent me some pictures of the boat in the water. If you have any, post them. I really like the lines on the boat. Also if you have any pictures of the cabin, those would also be great to see. I've been looking for pictures on the PP website, but nothing.
Saw from your posts on the AT board that you are going with KE power. Let us know how she performs.
We went with the AT 37 AVH, but it was a tough choice.

Haven't seen any pictures of the boat but heard from many people at the show who checked out the 38. It was well received and highly regarded by everyone I spoke with. Powerplay sure does make a nice machine that is well rigged and detailed. I'm sure everyone who orders one will be happy. I can't wait to see a couple on the water this year.

I saw the Blue 38 Last Sunday Running Hard off of Jupiter and catching Air coming through the breakers in Jupiter Inlet.
Beautiful boat. Looked like a much better ride than the 38 Huslter right behind it. In Hustler defense, the guy driving it had it trimmed in too far
