It was a tank with a trim cylinder behind it on rails..that allowed the weight to be shifted forward ( by switch ) as soon as the fuel went lower in the tank , to keep the boat running the same at all times no matter if the tank had 80 or 10 gallons in it !!!!!!!

There are pictures, the tank was setup to be slid forward as the fuel was burned off and it worked pretty good from what I heard. When the Pictures come up I will let you know.

I thought of the very same thing like 3yrs ago...mounting the tank on a set of rails that get bolted to the stringers and possibly slide the tank back and forth with a hyd ram to chnage the center of gravity or running attitude of the boat on the fly.... if you find the pics the please post them! Thanks Steve, still the top thread on here for sure!

And here i thought i had an orriginal idea!
