Thanks for replying. I just read this entire thread..... took 2+ hours!! Holy crap this is THE BEST OSO THREAD EVER!!! Steve1, thank you "sir" for taking the time to enlighten us all on boatbuilding and especially Powerplays. IMHO, the 33' Powerplay is the best looking boat ever made!

Powerplay BI 1993 National Champion , Brian there were a couple of these that were all up bagged and cored.

But for a given design there is a "proper weight" (Tested in the gulfstream),What Danny did was build the boats at the optimum weight he got the stiffness needed without coring the entire structure (example 38 Bagged sides and deck). and he paid the price in materials we had the best vinlyester system around in those days Advanced textiles/Brunswick/Vectorply for fabric ,Cook/CCP Gelcoat,Corecell and ATC Bonding systems.

what is meant by "up bagging"? I have seen you use that term before.
