Curious where you've read this? I have a 28 (obviously a little different) but the deck is rock solid. Several people can be on it, no flex. The boat is solid, and I couldn't imagine a 33 differing as they have the same beam, etc.

I was reading it on this website in the PP forum around page 11 and older I think. There was a guy in this thread that seemed to have an ax to grind with PP. I love the boats just wanted to know if this may of been true and what to look for. I think every builder no matter how good they may be at one time or right now may be doing something they may regret or change down the road, after all we are only human and learning is part of the game.

I'm with the elephant comment. My boat ran hard in short, steep, hard hitting Long Island Sound. The only experience I had was perfection.

JROMY ran his harder and experienced nothing but the same perfection.

Steve,
What did the bare hull and deck weigh as pictured in post 1601?

Thanks again for all your time and knowledge you have shared.

Yes that is a very cool place to keep the boat.

Steve, this thread is still the best on OSO, love the pics, thanks for all the effort.

As you are one of the top industry experts and really understand the physics of the hulls, could you give some insight into what type of setups the PP's like?

For example would my 28 run best w/ a bow lifting prop or stern, 3 or 4 blade, deep X or high, etc? I think you've covered some of this info for outboards, but us inboard guys would like to learn too! As their are only about 3 of these singles......I don't have too many people to ask who really know! Trial and error is out of my budget too right now.
