Most of the outboards went out with Choppers in those days.

Default Steve 1.....

thank you sir for the education!!!!!!!!!! Last night I decided to research Powerplay and ended up here. I started reading then and other than a few hrs sleep, went non stop starting w/page 1.
I have been a twin O/B cuddy V-bottom guy from day 1.
I am 80% through restoring my second 24' Sonic. We weekend on the boat and love it's huge cabin. I keep looking at "what's next" and am not ready to go to 30' although thats about all thats out there w/what I want other than........., the 28' PP.
Unless I missed it, I didn't see much detail on them??? Weights, performance etc. Oh yeah, and cabin pix's
I did read the production count of 12 which means I probably won't ever find one I can afford though.
I like what I have enough that I keep thinking if I had financial backing I'd love to build them w/todays materials/methods.
I worked for a local builder doing 28' ficshe botes in all infused balsa and would do same. Do you think a '2011 version of a 25/28 O/B hull/trailer would be north of $100K??
W/todays motors you could make either run great w/a single O/B while sipping gas or slide it over screw on a 2nd one and scare the bejesus out of your self while still having great economy and 5 yr warrantys!
Thanx again, Gary
