Hey Steve, got a question for ya.......I'm makeing a small plug for a stereo project for a buddy and am thinking about possibly making a few of these items.....the plug right now is a mix of wood and the pink insulation foam. What would you cover this with to get a nice smooth finish to make a mold off it??? Would you cover with glass? I was hopeing for something to maybe spray it with with minimal finish work...any thoughts? Thanks

Yes we gelcoated those seperate on the floor and then brushed gelcoat across the joints when we assembled it,before glassing into a unit ,there was some wet sanding on the seams when we pulled it a small nub ,they looked real good and it took a Truck windshield so eventually I could add wipers and a wash system.
