Jeff, Pat has the 38 outboard at PMT with trip 300 Verados. Runs upper 70's (guessing that means 77-78). He rerigged from 250xs to 275 verado to 300 verado. He should have a good guess on speed, but I agree with 82-83 based on the 300 speeds. I'll bet a 300xs boat is faster than 350's though.

Danny had the Apache Glass guys Pedro and his Dad ,there was a constant "think tank" going on with the Boss over his boats ,I am glad to have been there it was a cool experience looking back (very hard work at the time) and I built my first Cheetahcat while working for Danny.
