i think it still needs shorties and boxes... but one thing at a time, I am having some issues with my oil pressure and water temp not working since the boat has the older 9 or 10 pin harness and the motors have the 14 pin. So I posted in the General Q & A about rigging up a bypass with some AGI boxes to get everything working again. Not much help so far and Mercury basically told me to totally re-rig the boat with new 14 pin harnesses (because we are all high rollers and can afford their ridiculously inflated prices, right??). Livorsi was more helpful and told me to run smartcraft data cables from each motor into a 6 way junction box, and then run wires from the junction box into AGI boxes to convert the signal to analog, and then wires from the AGI boxes to the gauges. They said this SHOULD work but no guarantees... there has to be someone that has done this but not a whole lot of feedback so far.

The boat does run very strong though, and am happy so far with the performance. It really pulls a lot harder with the 525's.

Wow now I'm even more jealous.

Good luck on the gauges too. Let me know if you're selling old stuff...
