Sorry if I came off negative, it is a beautiful boat, and the 33 PP is one of my all time favorites. Wish you all the best on the sale and hope someone finishes it the way it deserves. For a guy like me though, I would have too much into it as a finished boat to be practical. Not bashing at all, just my personal feeling/situation.

Didnt know how to finish? More like lost interest and Im glad I did because I made out better than if I had finished the boat and tried to sell.
What details about the 37AT? It was a submarine and needed a total refurb if you wanted it 100 percent, but for a guy on a budget, throw it back together and change the $hit as it fails.........If you cant do your own work, then a boat like this would never make sense for somebody, and it would be a waste of their time to look at it.
Same with the 525's, leaked down fine, compression was fine, and they both ran perfect on the floor. so if youre on a budget, run them and if something fails then replace it......
Must be something in the MI water, the only thing you and your cronies do is cry about the used stuff you bought.

No offense taken at all.
For conversation sake I'd like to know why you have to be all in at 80K unless of course your trying to buy it to flip it. If you were all in at 100K you'd have an amazing boat at a fantastic deal. Lets consider what currently for sale here on OSO
2001 Cig mystique 30..600's non merc....98,900.
2004 TG 525'2 and ITS.........................150,000
2002 TG 575sc and x's..........................149,000
There are comparable boats such as AT's with 525's that are all 130K and up.

80k =
40k boat
26k engines
6k exhaust
10k drives
4k misc rigging
And thats if you let the boat boat at 40.
Are there transom assemblies?
Any tabs?
Hydraulic steering?
Just making conversation.
And yes, i know there are cheap deals on used power and drives, but this boat deserves better.
Without some nice power w/ XRs it wont be one of the finest rides out there.

So let me see if I understand this correctly. If I keep the boat and finish it with 525's, ITS etc.. You think I'd be lucky to get 80K? I'm sorry but I whole heartedly dissagree.. Please show me a comparable boat for 80K.

I'd agree that getting 80k for it w/ decent hour 525's is about right, and I love PP's! I'd guess it'd list for 90 sell for 80.
I know one person in this thread knows of an 09 AT 33 that would be able to baseline a true comparable.

Its a crappy time to sell a almost 10 year old boat that had limited production and a very small market to begin with. I know, cause I'm in that market. And I unfortunately believe all these hot rods are not worth that much. Better off to build and go have some fun for a season instead of getting hacked up and sent to the islands for outboards. That is a sweet boat. Money wise it costs about 45k to build a bare boat such as that add stuff from there. Good Luck. BTW there are a few custom v-bottom hot rods out there that are comparable for 60k that will run almost 100 or better.

You have a cool boat and I don't mean to offend you but yes IMO it would sell sub 80k range finished. I own one and would love to see resale prices go up but I just don't see it happening.
