99K, 2006 38 Fountain w/brand new interior. Boat is bigger, staggered, faster and a bank will loan money on it.
This PP is nice but just like an Apache you can buy it, re-rig it and get buried in it easily. Remember the black 38 PP that submarined sold for 30K (no drives/motors) and the hull was salt water submerged for 30 hours.

Last year there were a couple sub 100K 2003-05 42 Fountain 525/XR boats, though they were Executioner styles (not Lightnings). Though I would rather have a 38 Powerplay over any Fountain (though maybe a 42 PR is very cool).

But does show for 85 you could have the PP running and a Fountain to sell sans powertrain.

Skip the Merc 525 crap. Find some fresh 600hp 502's or even 540's for much less. Fresh Bravos or XR's. And some new CMI. Having the boat turnkey will help with the sale and open the customer base up considerably. Financing on that boat should not be an issue and either would insurance. Most of the people I know that would drop coin on a hull and have the resources to rig it would opt for a bigger stepped boat for the same price. A lot of boats change hands under the radar and for much less than expected.

Really...you can buy 35-38ft 525 fountains under 80k all day long? Show me please. You did say under 80k correct?
Jupiter...I'm not sure I understand your comparison of Manny's black 38 that was underwater to my 33?
Aj... Yes I still have the 540's we spoke about.. Also did you buy yours without power? If so, as a comparison what was the price. If you don't want to post publicallly you can PM me. Maybe it would be helpfull in my asking price

Point was that someone bought a submarine for 30k with no trailer, so 49k for a boat on a trailer with a new interior and no water issues doesn't seem that far off!
