Outboards are my next boat purchase. I'm done with climbing around a bilge, messing with drives etc. Nothing like the BB power and sound, but I'd rather make life a little easier these days.

He uses it almost every weekend up here during the summer. But, In Florida it just sits on the lift all winter. Go figure...... Honestly the boating in Florida has really taken a turn for the worst with all of the no wake and manatee, it takes sooooo long to go anywhere

That’s what I thought but wasn't sure. Probably pretty efficient with the xs. I would love to own this boat but i can't justify it yet. It would get used twice a year and i would have to pay to store it until I build a house. I need to stop looking until I’m ready to buy cause I’m constantly torturing myself.

Thats why I am going the route that I am going. Around all of the big block boats allways have the hatch up while the CC's are out every weekend. It seems like they enjoy their boat 3 times a year while complaining about the fuel. I like the size of the 33. It is small enough to do decent speeds with outboards and big enough to handle the water like the bigger boats. I havent splashed yet but I am maybe 2 months away. Btw, I have 3 300xs's. I have a buddy with a 37 outerlimits cc and he did 71.5 gps with more to go with 3 300xs's.

Never had or wanted I/O's. My 250 hp promaxes will push my Talon to just under 100 before most of my friends with I/Os can get on plane. They sip fuel at 60mph and if they break i can swap a powerhead in an hour. With offshore mids they sound killer. If I go back to a vee the powerplay is at the top of my list.
