AJ is an outboard hater haha, even if the ob was 15mph faster, got double the fuel mileage, and ran for double the amount of time before any maintenance was required, I still don't think he would take it. I'm also an IO guy but once you can get over loosing the big block noise, the ob boats are the way to go. Plus those 2.5's in key west sound pretty damn good going by at 9k rpm. All in all for coolness factor I think I would rather have a quad outboard boat than a 525/bravo boat....

For once i will agree with you 302... I think OB's look great... On the 33 CC's
Although the mileage and maintenance would be nice, three boxes on the back of the boat in my way and no swim platform dont appeal to me. Nor does the look in general. But to each there own. Maybe when im older....

Beaters ruin the usefulness and look of the transom and sound like an army of penci sharpeners at speed.
My buddy had a tripp 33 and it was a cool boat. Just seeing it made me want one. The one pictured in this thread looks bad ass too and I would love to own it if I boated in salt.
Nothing is cooler than a couple BB's with dried out pipes screaming by at 6000rpm. And if any of you guys say different it may be time to hand in your man card.

I was only a phone call away from buying a boat with 2x 300xs (302 sport) when my finally finally chimed in and started looking at the pics and said she really wanted the sunpad... OB's are cool and would have loved to have them for all the pro's but with kids and rafting up, they are just in the way..

What does yours run with the 496s'? They are very reliable and should run 100s of hours before refresh. A friend picked up a 91', we think, from Louisiana with 572s' two weeks ago with No Agenda on the sides. Anyone know the boat? I'm wondering what it will top out at.

They're terrible around boca/ft lauderdale. One day we were tied to dock with the engines off on my buddies 40 skater with 1200 sterlings and 6 inch dry pipes. The cop walks up, looks at it and says "I'm writing you a ticket for noise." My buddy says "it's not even running." So the cop says, " well then do you want to start it, then ill write the ticket?" My buddy just took the ticket haha

you guys are crazy! Lol
