Sounds like a labbed set of 28" Bravos may be spot on. You will attain your best top speed with a set of choppers, but the Bravos are better for overall drivability.
I assume you have 20" mids. Motors should be mounted on the lowest mounting hole.

Last week I ran a set of 26" BBlades Blasters, which are a chopper style 4 blade. They were slower than the 26" Bravos by 3 mph. Brad at BBLades is sending me a set of 27s to demo as I sent the 26s back. I have my prop shafts at the hull running surface which on my 250 XSs are one hole up. The Optis are a lot heavier, 505 lbs, than any 2.5 liter engine and changes how the boat handles. The Bravos handled better than the Blasters so I am somewhat skeptical of the Blasters being a prop I will buy. The boat really wanted to porpoise with the Blasters. I will keep updating as I continue to test props and setup.

I put 300XSs on the boat last fall. Best speed of 88 with 28" BBlade Bravos. Just bought a DCB F26 and will be selling my Powerplay without power as soon as I pull the engines. Will post pics of the boat soon. If anyone is interested I can send pics via text or email. The boat is very clean and I constantly upgraded it throughout the 2 years I've had it.
