Miami...That was me with To The Wood. Just out burning up mass quantities of fossil fuel!! I have a pair of 29 hydromotives if you would like to try them, but you must turn at least 5100rpm at wot or you will not get full timing advance on a 500 efi. Baja 27...I am runnig 30p Bravo props, turning around 5600-5700rpm.
SemperFi....Congratulations on purchasing Matt's boat. That is a neat boat. You need to try some 4blade props on that boat. Keep us informed.

Thanks! I think I will try some Hydromotive Quad 4's on the boat and see what it does. I'm not even close to being an expert, so my friend Roy (he used to race F2-17, Formula 382) can run the boat with me and give me some good advice.
Actually Eric Treadwell is probably going to deliver the boat to Havasu for me and maybe he can go for a ride and give me some advice.

PPlay33.......... thanks for the generous offer. I currently have Bravo 28's. I am told they rate their pitch a little different than all other prop mfg. I think the Bravos compare to a 26 1/2 to 27 Hydro. I would want to try a 27" Hydro. The 29 would be too much wheel.

Wow, this post caught a second wind recently. Well fella's I did indeed go ahead and order a 32 Sunsation despite your recommendations to the contrary. Sorry, I just love'em and they fit & exceed my operating needs.

I went to Miami this year for the show and got to climb over the 38 on the first day (Thursday) right next to the Cig display, and even though the boat wasn't quite completed yet I must say I walked away impressed with it's practical man's approach to boat building and layout, and BTW similarities in profile to the Cig 38.

I haven't a clue as to PP's financial situation or dealings etc., but I hope they continue to build and prosper because it sounds like their fans are very passionate about their rides and that's always a good litmus test.

For you ChesBay types, if you're ever far enough south to visit the "real" 6 footers of the mama ChesBay/Atlantic ocean region by all means drop me a line and I'll show you around. It'll be a good opportunity to let those PP's fly a little.....

Best of luck to everyone and to Dan and the PowerPlay line...

Rick

Ed,

Do you know why he wanted the Sylvester with Tweety in his mouth on it?? My girlfriend loves the Sylvester (we have a black cat) on the boat.
Ed,
I was wondering if you could answer this question. I am really curious.
Thanks,
Gerard

I have some video footage of this boat from Havasu making a pass by us at about 100 mph. Maybe I can give it to Semper Fi to post if you guys are interested. I have no idea how to do it.D
