Well I went to see the Avenger today. The boat looks very good, Motors have super chillers. Is that normal?

Seems they really make the motors taller than I expected, they look huge. Because of the tall motor the sun pad has scoops mounted on it. Looks cool but adds to cockpit noise.
Any one out there have the faring rather than the windshield? What is it like?

I am putting scoopes on this next winter and I also have a fairing. I like the fairing look but as for wind in your face ya you get alot of it, as for the engine noise in the cockpit that is what I want, I want to hear those motors puuuurrr.

I used to have windshield and changed over to a fairing. It changes the look of the boat dramatically I would never go back to a windshield!

The wind is never an issue with us we enjoy it and the fairing breaks it up enough that you never have all the wind in your face + you can still duck down a bit to get out of it. We do wear goggles at night and on bitter cold spring or fall runs but by that time were done boating anyway.
