Gary the prop was a no go!!! Plane and cruise speeds were great. At 35mph the drive was still down, at 40-50 the same. As soon as you tried to give it some trim she'd rock back and forth due to much lift in the transom. It felt so unstable we never pushed it past 55mph and I had the tabs down a few clicks for that. So I'm back to the 23p Mirage Plus. More than likely I'll send that in over the winter to have it reworked to a 22p.

That's too bad. They must have done a little more than lab that prop. The Bravo 1's are more of a bow lifting prop than most of the 4 blades out there. I know Hydromotives are stern lifting props. When you are ready to do your prop, send it to Trottle-up. They were great for me At least you are using your boat I just got back from a week in Pa. on the motorcycles. We haven't used the boat at all this year.

Gary sorry to hear you have'nt been able to use the boat. By the way did throttle up do your prop?? If so what did they do and how does it run??
One thing you may want to do in selling your boat is to turn it over to a Michigan dealer. Lets face it in Michigan the Powerquest is a well know company and good market. I would have looked at yours had it been closer. You should give Great Lakes Marina a call up in Muskegon Michigan. I'll bet they can arrange something and sell that baby for you. When I bought my 26 earlier this year thay had two backup offers on it.

Fastforward,
Throttle-up did do my prop. They repitched it to a 22 and cleaned it up and polished it. It looked like a new prop. I'm still at the rev limit with it but because I added new exhaust and a K&N I picked up 2 mph. I'm still going to try and sell to someone closer to me. That's why I haven't used it. I really don't want to put more hrs on it. I'm pretty sure It will sell, when someone who is really serious actually comes to look at it. I think it is priced right.

Gary, I'll agree with you on the price. If you had that boat in my area, she'd been gone a long time ago. FYI, I talked with a few guys with the 27 Laser and the 28 Silencer and all stated the 26 hull was far superior in ride and handling. Just thought I'd pass that along in-case someone is comparing yours to one of the other models.
