Just a thought why don't all of us Powerquest owners just chip in and buy the place? We all own one and know what we all want out of the boat as far as looks and performance. Aren't the Green Bay Packers owned by the fans?? Just a thought and not meant to offend anyone.

I was told Phil is still moving forward. All I've got to say if he pulls this off and open's the doors. They better have one hell of a rally this year to drum up new business! They are going to need to work the PR thing to the hilt. One funny thing in the mist of the whole closing is how liitle it's known in the boating world. At least thats what I've run across.

I have heard this too, Im told that most of Phils money people have backed out and that Skater has stayed in and is absorbing the others investment. If thats true Skater will be the main money player.............

Some one is telling him this stuff and I know he is in the Skater plant a lot, could be BS but..................

That's for sure, when I tell people 'my boat is a PQ' they say, ' what's that???', then I explain 'it's like a Formula'....

Really??? Had 1 Formula and 3 PQ's....now you tell me!

Actually had many boats ...the 380 is my 14th.unit...and wanting to sell that and move on up...with the Jefferson's....HAHAHA

Each the "F" and "PQ" have their Pros and Cons, but lately have favored the "PQ's"

Formulas are great boats. Matter of fact before we settled on the last two boats we purcahsed Formula was the 2nd choice. Mainly due to price. But with that said that's why we went PQ. They are very comparable in quality and when you look at the savings, not much to talk about after that, other than the PQ has a much larger cabin area than any of the Formulas. Which in my book is pretty important. Both are great boats! :D

Very well put....the same went with us. We looked at the 382 Fastech (GREAT boat) and the 380 Avenger. The same...more cabin room in the PQ, beside the $$$$ were more on the Formula. BUT one thing remains constant...BOTH factory were excellent with customer satisfaction before, during and AFTER the sale. My older Formula after the warranty ran out the factory was still there with all the help I needed and gave special pricing (I feel) for Little things that break and go wrong after the sale and warranty is up

MORE CABIN...that's why the wife and I are in the market for a Black Thunder and want the sale the 380.
6'10" head room in the BT is phenomenal

Mk and I are formally employees of PQ.When we both had our hands on Sales and Marketing, we both had this company on the brink of dominating the performance boat market. You can see now what has happened when after we both left the seen because of ownership change.Powerquest Performance Boats had the most experience boat building team anyone could ask for to get us there. That my friend, has vanished. Will there be an new owner? A new team of builders?A lot has to start from the top who ever that might be along with the experiences and knowledge of this industry. Please, no rumors until you have the real fact. It just hurts all the present owners..

Nice grammar. I hear Mark Twain wants to make a comeback and dominate the tri-hull runabout market. A phone call may be coming your way!

I hope you bought because of Clinton Marine or Riverview Marine who were your local Powerquest dealers :D . I am sure they did the service you expected to keep you pleased with your purchases.

Re: Powerquest Factory

I don't know who bought or is buying PQ, I just hope that a deal goes through. If Skater is involved I don't think they would say anything until the deal was done all the way. It would be nice if that was the case but I don't know. I just hope that someone buys them and they don't go by the way side. Hopefully a new owner gets the deal done in time to start on the 2007 models, but like has been mentioned who will they get to work for them? If another manufacture buys them that would mean possible transfers and new people that would feel more comfortable going to work knowing there is a future. Only time will tell, so lets all just hope.

Rich.

To be honest I've really lost faith. PQ as well as the so called new owner (s) have done nothing but keep us in the dark. If it wasn't for us they'd be nowhere! They owe us a little in site, good or bad! Just my 2 cents.
