OK - I know that boat. My wife made a comment about how she liked the name last summer. The world is certainly small at times.

Knot 4 Me,

I was just telling my wife that you were on this site and she thinks she has a photo of your boat. It is a sharp boat and I am a fan of burgundy.

Anyone have a contact person for the sale/purchase of Powerquest? A few months ago we purchased Awesome Powerboats. We are looking for a v-hull line to operated under its own banner. Last summer I examined a number of Powerquests at their LOTO dealer's. I was impressed with fit/finish, large cockpit & cabin and all the other attributes mentioned on this thread by current and past Powerquest owners. I witnessed the performance of both Wally's and Pwrqust's boats on Lake Clinton last fall. Both had impressive speed and handling. I find it hard to comprehend Powerquest having problems considering the product and loyal customer base. If anyone has any information please call me at 314-496-6701. Dan

Addiction, When did you purchase your boat. I was hangin with the riverview boys at 04 SOTW and almost traded my 02 avenger for your boat, but I can't imagine it took that long to sell your boat. We could not quite come to terms on the deal and I wasn't that motivated becuase I have so many extras on my boat. I really wanted the 525's but during the run I realized that it was not alot faster than mine with 500's A very nice boat though with a lot of thought going into the spec by the riverview boys.

We had a lot of fun with those guys at 04 SOTW and they won the ten grand with your boat. I think they scared the hell out of Mandy during the run.

For the record I have never consided myself a formula wannabe. I had certain expectations for my boat and a certain amount of money to spend. What i got in return was a roomy, fast, and affordable performance boat with no cracks or flaws in the hull after 145 hours on lake michigan and two SOTW poker runs.

Migpilot,

I just bought the boat in December. It only made two poker runs in its life and when it ran SOTW the paint was barely dry. I was in the boat this summer and it ran 83 all day and we had it up to 85 at one point on GPS. I would guess that it would run pretty close to yours since the HP difference is not all that much ~50 horse. I was amzazed that they still had the boat also. They had several interested parties but no one ever came up with the cash. I have the photos from that run and if that was Mandy in the back seat she looked scared.
