Some folks go up and run with the boats, they just don't participate in the cards, dinners etc....and they don't pay except dock fees for the weekend. They still get to hang around, look at all the cool boats and talk to folks. And that is the best part.

I am cautiously optimistic.

When I can get a phone number to ring I will feel a lot better.

That may be an option! It would just suck to drive 17hrs and not officially be in the Poker Run. I will have to see if my riders could fork up some of the dough.

That is a better plan - if you can get a few folks to chip in it won't be so bad. And the other thing to remember is it all goes to a great cause. I'm not sure about the legality of writing a portion of it off since a portion goes to Make a Wish.

Well I have a few months to convince them.

GOOD NEWS, I heard that PowerQuest sold today. I do not have details on new owner but they should be back up and running within 2 weeks.
