None the less its still a positive. First time boat buyers might get hung up on buying a boat no longer being made. I feel now will be hearing more about upcoming progress at the factory and less speculation.GO POWERQUEST!

Interestingly enough, I agree with most of the posts that indicate they have not seen a drop. But markets are funny, we may see a drop from now until 2009 until the new owners get the company back to where it was 3-4 years ago.

My guess is people will watch cautiously. But my guess is the new owners understood this, and in the end I hope the brand comes back stonger than ever.

I agree that first time buyers doing some investigation might be turned off by a lack of factory support. However, I think in the long run quality and style dictate the market. Most of the parts outside of the fiberglass, some seats and doors, are aftermarket. It is not like trying to find parts for Fiat (yes, I owned 2 of them!).

Just my 2 cents but here shortly, we are going to have quality AND factory support. WaHOO!!
