I am sure they are crapping their pants with the current condition of the industry.
I heard someone say it's the "perfect Storm" for boat manufactures. High fuel, low dollar, financing tighter, flooded used market, etc...

If they really want to make it, they need to focus on the overseas markets where the rest of the world wants to be like we were.

I'm surprised that we haven't heard anything. You would think they would jump on ANY board and announce something instead of keeping everyone in the total dark

I was going to take some interior down to them but opted to have it repaired instead. $850 v.s $70.

If they make it I'll more than likely have them do the work this winter. I just don't understand the silence...............

Default pq

I stopped in the factory with my dad on saturday to ask about a new gaffrig guage for his vyper. The new owner was there and we talked to him for awhile. They are going to produce, but need to settle things first. The old owners left him a mess, and he is looking at some new designs. The stuff he wants to do is brilliant and will definately be a great turn for powerquest. Dont get me wrong, I love my Vyper and wouldnt change a thing about it, but there are some definite improvements coming.

He is talking to loyal pq owners. He took us through all the new designs and asked us for our opinions and all the new changes, and they were AWESOME! I know people may be losing interest, but they are trying to re enter the market with a bang. They need to start out strong in order to sell boats in the economy, which will take some time. Give them a little time and they'll be producing again. I hope my dad's company picks up so we can get a new one.

Or they are looking at the current economy and are in no hurry to re-enter until they see some signs of stability.
