If and when PQ comes back they will have to figure out how to break out of the upper Midwest where their bread and butter sales were back in their heyday. Not a lot of people with a lot of disposable income in that area right now. Maybe some boats will show up at the upcoming shows in late '08 early '09.

I agree - they might get some interest in Canada due to the value of the $ right now. I doubt they can count on anything over seas. So they need to work on getting some dealers in Florida. Starting back up will be tough.

If they are going to have any boats show up at this winter's shows, somebody visiting the factory will need to start smelling some resin soon.

Actually, they arej selling a lot of boats overseas right now. I talked the new owner for awhile last week and he is selling quite a few boats overseas right now. Hopefully they do, because that will help support them when they go into full production.

That's a bunch of BS. What are they, to good to sell us boats in the USA now? Why the heck would they first try to sell boats to overseas customers when they used to have a loyal base of customers right in their own backyard? Even if that was true why not update your website site and start marketing boats in the USA at the same time you are taking all these overseas orders. Yeah, other countries might have a stronger economy right now but I can't believe that's all they are focused on. I realize they need to focus beyond Michigan and the Midwest but come on and get real!

If PQ only wants international customers that's fine, just let us all know so we can all move on and start talking up another boat manufacturer.

Do you have a count for the number of boat completed and delivered?

From every other post out here they were working their molds to implement improvements. Seems like they went from that status to selling lots of boats kind of fast.

Not trying to cause a big issue here, but just trying to figure out what the status really is. I'm sure they are trying to drum up over seas interest, but there is a big difference between interest and boats complete, delivered and paid for.

Sure seems like we would have seen some other information on this if they were actually delivering boats.

My guess is they have yet to produce a complete product to date. If they had you'd be an absolute fool not to have informed one of the leading magazines to get the hype going. And beside if things were getting back to normal that would be fairly big news in the Holland and Grand Rapids area. There would have been a splash in the papers. Now maybe there was as I'm south of there but I would think a member of OSO would have read it and posted it . I wish them the best, just for the life of me haven't figured out how they think this all silence is good for the company. A bone every once in a while would be a good thing.
