I'm new to the site, but I did want to say I'm in my second PQ (1999 280 Silencer) and I love their boats. We lost our 270laser in a boat shed fire this summer. Fire sucked, but the new boat makes it easier to accept. There was no question about what we wanted to replace the pile of ashes.
I wonder if a former PQ employee could give me hull dimensions,my son and I are considering building a scale replica mini-PQ (about 9 ft) for him to play in at the lake :-D

That is the money shot!! Nice boat!! 3 weeks in florida in February--Im jealous! How much of a pain was it to tow 20 hours? I just purchased my powerquest in IL (I live in WA). Was planning on paying a shipping company to ship it here (Ive been quoted $1500) but am also considering a flight to Chicago, renting a truck and driving it back..2000 miles..Not sure which route Im going to pursue (would do it in May).

FastForward, joining is part of the plan. I should be joined up in the next few weeks. I'll post pics as soon I'm all joined up.

Winter stinks, although it is going to be 70 degrees in Overland Park today. Not bad. Looking at PQ's helps pass the time. Here is mine (rerun picture) and a picture of Lake Perry from about 800 feet.
