Johnny, Is that the cover shot boat on the 97 brochure?

close,the cover boat graphics are slate black,tide pool green,and smoke Grey. Mine are blue,black,and yellow.Also the cover boat doesn't have the opening port windows.I love my powerquest,and thanks for asking.

Very nice boat and have to say I really like the graphics. Our 26 is the brochure boat in 97... I've always thought the 38 has the best lines out of all the PQ's. Than again it could just be that size thing....

Very sharp boat. I love my 97 Avenger also. Mine is f/s in my quest for more speed. What power are you running?

Stock 502 m.p.i. mags.With 2 people, 90% of fuel i seen 68 m.p.h. on the g.p.s. Perfect conditions maby 69 ?? , 67 m.p.h. all the time. This was my first season with this boat. I had a 290 enticer for 8 seasons before the avenger.I went to cedar point in lake Erie this summer from anchor bay in lake st. Clair. I was with slower boats so i ran 2600 r.p.m. @ 32 m.p.h. g.p.s., Traveled 95 miles and burned only 60 gals. She can be very efficient if you run conservatively.

I cant seem to figure out how to attach a photo to my message (other than attach it with a link)..I wish I had some photo's of the boat in the water but what can you do? I just bought it. The boat was purchased from Fleet Marine in Steger IL. When do you guys typically hit the water at the Chain of Lakes? By May (in Seattle) we are typically getting some nice days in the mid to upper 60's by then. Anything similar in the midwest? Have any of you guys gone to the Desert Storm poker run on Lake Havasu in late April? A friend of mine and I are going to drive down there and go (on his 2002 28 ft Nordic Heat--which presently up for sale. If sold the PQ is coming to WA earlier than planned and will make the trip to AZ). Its one of the biggest poker runs in the country.
