I have a great shape 2 owner 29 that I have been throwing around at selling. Red & white colors, Lots of updates. Any certain years or price range? Mine is a '94 with about 250 hrs. I was thinking around 39,000....LOTS OF UPGRADES!!!

The glass is fixable, but it is what you cant see. The unknown if you will that would or could be the bigger problem. If it is from a weak frame or rot then it can be a big expensive ordeal. That can make even a screaming deal end up being still an expensive ride, also dont forget about down time in having it fixed..

If you still are thinking about buying it, I would have it professionally checked to get an idea of if there may be more extensive damage inside.. Jamie / Lakeside

Default Fiberglass

I looked at a number of 29's late this summer in Michigan before buying one out of Kentucky. Two of the boats I looked at had that same issue. No one could give me a straight answer as to whether this was a major issue or not. I just figure why chance it. Both boats that had this issue looked well used.

I looked at several last summer as well as old as 93 and none of them had issues like that. I'd stay clear of that boat all togeather. I purchased a Scarab years ago with some glass damage and was never able to stop the thing from cracking back out. We tried everything shy of spending thousands to repair. I'd never do it again, the summers to short!
