257 or 26 Powerquest at speed

Take a good look at the location of the hook. I think you will find it high up on the bottom and might not be in the water at 70 mph. I'm not positive about this, it's been a number of years since I put a straight edge to one.
I did a lot of testing with a 260 and a 600 Hp engine. Top speed was low 70s on GPS. It's a drivers boat to keep it from chime walking at that speed.

I don't beleive the rockers are in the water at speed. I thought the were put in more to help with the planning, but I could be wrong. There fairly large and I'm not sure they could be removed with causing some structural issues.

I've got a 29 PQ running 78 mph and I believe that the "rocker or hook" or I'll just referred to as "the tail end of the boat" is still in contact with the water. I have a terrible video of a fly by I did and even in that vid it looks like it's still in the water. Mine will chine walk too above 60 ish. I'm getting better at controlling it but still have a ways to go. To some guys driving with chine walk is second nature. They don't even think about it.
