No commission needed
I would just be happy with him being able to cruise at the same speeds as me on long runs.

Is that gel coat or paint? WOW. My 96 is starting to look faded but after I do a good buff and wax for the season looks amazing but getting tired of doing it. Also, you will want to find the neutral position on those tabs and the mark on your indicator with like red wire tape. Best way to do it is to have someone drop them down while you hold a ruler against the hull, flat, to check when the are even with bottom.
