Kentz, It is a 4520 from Gaffrig performance (Not Livrosi) 198.00 for head only. 200.00 for GPS reciever (Black only). I hooked mine up to the existing Garmin setup. The gps antenna is mounted right above the cabin door on a small pole. It was there when I bought the boat. I have seen PQ's mounting and it is above the Tab indicators. But they use the analog type guage from Livrosi and there kit includes a white antenna and a recall switch.

Mine has an input for a recall button it allows you to show max speed, RPM, compass bearing, and voltage.

I have the color 176 and it works fine in the sunlight. In fact, I have no problem with wash out or seeing the colors or markings. Not sure if the Donzi bubba that you heard that from had it adjusted correctly....
