You mentioned 90 at this time. Plans for the boat this winter?

Here is a pic of mine:

Nice graphics. Sorry haven't been online for a bit. We are still prop testing. Can't get the right pitch. Going to change gears to 1.50 The boat came with 1.65's and we are maxed on pitch, 34's and on the rev limiters at 90. Also going to get rid of the water pumps. Going with water crossovers. I love the boat and it sure likes to run! I like the fairing look but couldn't imagine the wind or bugs coming home at night!

Normally 78-80 in summer depending on load. It took a long time to dial this boat in.

Also note the Steering wheel extension on the helm. A bit of a tight sqeeze to get between the wheel and seat, but the payoff is the wheel is in your hand while underway w/o leaning forward an it looks better too.

Re: PQ Owners Check-in

Mig I need the steering wheel extension on my 26. They mount the bolster like everyone in 6'6". How hard was in install and what was the cost?

migpilot 12-10-2005 12:03 PM

Re: PQ Owners Check-in

The install was easy. I had to remove the capnuts and studs and from the gerotor (which were loctited in) to facilitate bolting on the billet bezel(this holds the gerotor to the helm and is much beefier than the little stainless setup PQ used). The tapered adapters come in various lengths and two styles, either one piece where no wheel adapter is required or two piece which requires a steering wheel adapter. This mounts to the tapered shaft of the gerotor and your steering wheel mounts to it in one of the fashions mentioned above. I cant give you any price info because these pieces were donated by my cigarette friend who installed a Zeiger stainless tilt setup on his top gun. That is what I would utimately like but the $1200 tag is a little steep. Very nice piece though. The parts I was given are marine machine I am guessing and would probably cost about $150 not including the upgraded wheel I bought from livorsi.

Is it a 5" or 7" extension? I need some friends like yours!

I'm assuming 5" must be standard? My boats in storage so I can't easly get to it to measure.
