That is a solid upgrade!!!!!! 5K is not going to cut it!!!!

with the right equipment and a very HD pivoting point one could be made pretty easily I would think? As long as you secured the point of separation with solid reinforcements when in-line for towing and had the pivot mechanism supported with thick backplates on the inside of the tongue. If you went in with the "It's better to over-do-it than skimp" mentality I'm sure it could work

Matt had an option to get it on his new trailer they wanted to add it and he said no they forgot to do something he wanted on the braking system and it was easier for them if they made the swing away to make the repair. I think his boat is well over 8k but don't quote me on that.
