Correct, questionable items were pulled and "may" be available at a later date.
I worked with the bank directly for several weeks trying to put a deal that worked for us both that could keep the company together. Didn't pan out obviously.
What I did learn right away was they had no clue the level of cluster they got themselves into. Talked to them on a Wed and asked if all boats had clean titles. Their response was "well no but our lawyer is looking into it, we should have those by friday no problem".
Same thing when asked if the Powerquest name could be included, outstanding liabilities, etc etc.
You should see the bill that was rang up on the banks dime. Ouch.
But I did make a nearly $1million offer....90% of which was giving their inflated items back to them
Too bad for everyone involved from the workers to customers to suppliers all the way up to the bank. EVERYONE got screwed. Be interesting to see what happens tonight, I expect the heavy hitters will come out to play in the final minutes.

Well, on behalf of all Powerquest enthusiasts out there, I sincerely thank you for your attempt. I have lingered in this forum for a long time and after the interesting events of the auctions, finally signed up. It shall be VERY interesting to see what becomes of all this...

Looks like Steelhead is the new winner @ $200k. Probably not a bad deal if he has the right people and resources. Will be interesting to find out who it is. "Steelhead" makes me think it might be someone local. I know of a couple people pondering buying it also, will be interested to know who now has it.
Really hope they take it serious and keep it in Holland. Lots of good people still in the area

Hey but i did get the dually, now I just need a bumper sticker the says: I tried to buy a boat company and all I got was this lousy truck!
I should but it on ebay and let claremont and steelhead battle it out for it. Probably get $10k for it the way they were bidding LOL

In all seriousness tho any PQ former workers remember if the dually drove ok? Listing said it starts but didn't say anything about how it drives. Thinking getting a one way rental and head over to drive it back.

The guy sold it Jay... KID is back looking at sunsations again... Must have bumped his head at work, maybe he leaned back too far taking a nap. A nice 33 AT just came on the market and looks killer... Seems to be priced right (something he won't find looking in the other direction... LOL)
