The engine was just completely rebuilt and is back in the boat which is now back home and in the garage. I had forged internals installed, polished the crank, heads redone and now just waiting for summer. I will have the boat for sale though at some point, I just need to get it listed. We want to move up in size on the sport boat side before moving to a cruiser... The hunt is on in the 34-38 foot range with blue power. |

what kind of speeds did you get before and after the raylar kit?
Put e-top headers on this year but then the motor had lost compression, which resulted in the engine rebuild and we lost most of the summer, have not run the boat yet with the new motor. |

what you think cause the problem? The very first time after buying the boat when we launched it I overheated the boat bad.......didnt realise with closed cooling the little blue butterfly valves had to be opened and drained....I might of added to the shorter engine life the very first time around in it!! Broke a ring line on 2 pistons... |
What prop are u running with the raylar

There is too much cup on the prop which makes it get squirly on top, a little too much chine walk for my liking, need to use the tabs to straighten it out but not out of control...and the cup eats alot of rpm..... I'm thinking of going with a 28 labbed Bravo 1 with minimal cup to keep the rpm, and probably gain a mph or 2. |
did the work yourself?
