Higgins was great yesterday! I was one of the only boats on the water. Who, in Michigan, is headed out today to enjoy the far above average temps?

AWESOME weekend of boating!!!

Tore up lsc Saturday and Sunday. Got 90gps with 3 people and half tank. Thinkin 92-3 might be in reach.

Didn't relize exactly how awesome this boat was till we got into some chop and it ate it up without a doubt. Pretty good feeling when you got a 42' fountain owner on your boat complementing the ride of a 33'.

What's your official review on the 300 PROWRENCH?

PROWRENCH 05-21-2012 04:36 PM

The 300 is one fine machine. Definitely head and shoulders above the 280 for sure. It rides great and feels pretty nimble. Didn't have any real serious waves to test it, but yesterday would have been fairly rough in the 280 and the 300 barely noticed it. Still have to figure out Tom's secret to that magic 80 mark though. I only got 73 out of it with a full tank and 2 people. The speed was climbing slowly, but I don't think there was enough lake to hit 80, and Torch is 20 miles long. I'm hoping that 700 lbs of gas will make the difference, but we'll see I guess. The tattle-tale shows 82, so I just have to figure it out.

Hang in there Adam, the trimming seems to be different on the step boats... I'm sure you'll be over 80 in no time

Looks like uncle c has talked me into coming out this weekend to the chain and leaving the a/t at home.

Dennis, please have the Cig ready for my complementary 100mph+ ride. Thanks.
