Well the Florida-built boats are going to be under the PowerPlay section here on OSO... They were built by Danny Weinstein out of Ft Lauderdale. Excellent build quality and amazing ride quality, but the 33 does not have the most room you'll ever see, decent enough though. The 38 PowerPlay is enormous, and takes huge power to be real fast but you're not going to find another 38 like it in the rough.
The MI built PowerPlay/powerquest were made in Holland and all of their models seem to have best in class room and storage. They also seem to have a lot of amenities compared to others. Not the fastest hulls but great ride out of all of their boats. Their is no affiliation between the two and there was even a lawsuit over the name at one point, but you can't really go wrong with either. I've had both and I would say if you're going to be boating big open water with your buddies go PowerPlay from FL or a 30+ powerquest, if your going to be doing lots of staying on the boat then any powerquest or the 38 PowerPlay... The 33 PowerPlay just won't have the room you're looking for to stay out a few days. Not that you couldn't, bc I have and will continue to, but sometimes its nice to have that extra room.
