Instead of the dowl rod approach (which my 29 had), I built a PVC frame for the filler cushion.
I did a paper template to have the cushion made. Used the same template for a 3/4 plywood base. Kept the base separate from the cushion for ease of storage and moving around. I put the plywood based on the cushions in the vberth and throw the filler cushion anywhere to get out of the way.
Basically the pvc base is in the shape of 2 Hs connected togther. Works great. I just fit the base together when needed and take apart to store.
If interested send me your email address and I will send some pictures.

Verbi69 , Do you have your boat home yet? Can you post some pictures of the table and filler cushion and show how it mounts as a table and a cushion. What keeps it in place, and is ther a shorter poll for the cushion, like you use for the table?

Yes the boat is home but it's in a garage 15 or so minutes away from me....sorry I had forgotten you were looking for pics.
I'll head there tomorrow after work and snap some shots.
There is a shorter pole that attaches to the table.
I'll post them up tomorrow.

)Thanks.
Found a F450 Lariat here in Edmonton (but white of course), just too rich for me right now until the 270 sells.
