Listing the Avenger!!

Well guys as much as I hate the thought of selling the boat the time has come to put it on the market.

Before the OSO gods delete the thread I did try adding the listing today with 10 pictures attached but had difficulties getting it loaded...It did not allow me to make payment, so I have a message to call me sitting in Kenny Offshore's voice mail.

Looking for guidance on pricing the boat and would appreciate some input.

Boat is an '05 Poker Run Edition brochure boat with 525's, XR drives with showers, air/heat, hot/cold water, microwave, fridge, transom shower, 1 set of 4 blade Bravo 1's and 5 blade Hydromotives, GPS, GPS speedo, bimini with camper enclosure. CD head unit with ipod hook-up, amp, subs and transom controls, Smartcraft.
I'm sure I am missing things but that is the just of it.
Please let me know where you think the boat would move at.

Thanks,

Mike

Anytime!! You will have great summer in your new ride!!

All the videos were taken with my friend and his wife running our boat.....so the running attidute of the boat is flatter than normal.

PWRQWST 01-15-2012 08:39 PM

I liked the first video, a Powerquest running circles around a Baja...
Well I hope you find what you are looking for in your next boat, any ideas of what you might be thinking of?
Hope it sells fast for you.

AJ POWERPLAY 01-16-2012 07:13 AM

See Mike if you would have let me know you were selling a little sooner I wouldn't have bought the house and just bought the 380 AND the 450! With heat, water and A/C I could live in the Parking lot @ work!

inknppr 01-16-2012 10:47 AM

THE 288 KID 01-16-2012 11:41 AM

Too big for me, I end up boating by myself a lot.... :-(

verbi69 01-16-2012 12:12 PM

I hear ya, but sure does leave alot of room for the lady friends.....:drink:

Need4SpeedGTCS 01-16-2012 03:33 PM

Verbi,

Sad to hear you're selling the 380...been so happy with mine. And yours definitely has one of the sharpest paint schemes. What's next OL, NT, Cig? or are you going boatless?

Good luck trying to list on here...never did work for me listing my 270 (which is still for sale). Same thing, wouldn't take the payment.

Want to move into the cruiser world so we don't have to trailer any more....just slip it, and there's no way I would slip this one for the full summer.

PROWRENCH 01-17-2012 07:08 AM

I know I've heard "once you go bayliner..."

I can, however, understand trailering a 38 every time could get old. I wouldn't slip in that tannic-stained water you guys have at the north pole either. It sure would look nice in my slip at gin-clear torch lake though.

We trailer for 3 to 3-1/2 hours each way to our favourite spot on Georgian Bay, no muddy waters here like the south..lol.
The water is clear like Tonic...:grinser010:

I end up working plant shutdowns and loose 5 weeks of boating due to the long hours, so having a boat in a slip would be ideal, the wife and kids could still go to the boat and enjoy it.....

verbi69 01-20-2012 10:17 AM

If any of you guys know of a Four Winns 338, 348 or 358 model for sale please give them my info. Interested in these models with outdrives, not the v-drives.
Thanks,

Mike.

East Coast B 01-31-2012 07:26 AM

Four Winns 358 on ebay right now... buddy has one, very nice boats! We went with the Monterey for the aft sun lounge but had considered the Winns!

Thanks, saw that one, blue strippes, guy standing on the swim platform in his socks...(my kinda guy!!).
Nice boat with low low hours!

I have a couple of questions out to the owner, want to know if its a V-drive or strerndrive boat.

Thanks,

Mike

East Coast B 01-31-2012 08:29 AM

Looks like a v drive XP 63 1V on the yellow sheet in his pics...

verbi69 01-31-2012 08:44 AM

Ahh thanks...those sheets weren't online yesterday....Thanks,

verbi69 01-31-2012 08:48 AM

Even Four Winns doesn't know if that boat is a 348 or a 358 by the difference of the two yellow sheets...wtf??

East Coast B 01-31-2012 08:54 AM

Monterey did the same thing with my 330, they renamed it the 340. A lot of boat manufacturers are doing that.

We had been towing a long time, 4 hours to our favorite spot, finally moved to a cruiser and LOVE the boat. Nice not having to haul the boat. Only problem is that we now miss going to other places after doing the same dock for 3 seasons. Having a gen and all the comforts, having the ability to stay out is awesome!

I hear you on the trailering, it becomes a real pita by mid summer. We'll be going the cruiser route and keeping it docked at one of our favourite spots...looking forward to that!!
