I've driven these boats in both the open and closed bow configurations. It will have the infamous Checkmate porpoise at cruise speed which you either have to drive out of or install k-planes or similar length tabs to eliminate it. The mold/gel work on these boats is second to none. Nice, deep cockpit and bow area.

Thanx guys, but I sold my 29' Laveycraft MCOB so my wife can have her walk through bowrider. My Lavey kicked ass and would have never had sold it, but she wants a walk through, not another MCOB.

He's getting there, I'm wondering how hard it would be to convert the sit down seats to bolsters.
