Slips are available to reserve now @ Grand Haven municipal Marina for the Fun Run on 8/16/14. Don't have any idea when they will book up, only 57 total.

I've never boated out of GH, but have done Elk Rapids to Mackinaw before. It's a great ride, and you only have to watch your path around Gray's reef. GH to Mack would be a quite a day, probably better split into two days to enjoy the scenery and make some stops.

agreed, that would be a long haul in one day... but it would be a great ride. Lots of cool landmarks and dunes, and the water is beautiful. Grand Haven is pretty cool, for a while law enforcement was really taking the fun out of it, and they do random stops on the channel but all in all its a good place to boat.
