My opinion on the boat is it would need if not a complete, at least a partial redo.
Good engine packages are 40k plus another 20 for drives, there's 60k....

K-planes, hydraulic steering, Trailer, redo cockpit, exterior paint?? Etc,etc, you could dump a 100k pretty easy.

Oh yeah, forgot about those at first glance and I agree, all the items required to complete properly could ad up very quickly.
Would put you up into the upper cost bracket quickly.
Let's say someone bought mine for 100k, or even 95k, and put another 10k in it for whatever reasons, in my opinion would be the most cost effective way of getting into a complete package that could be enjoyed immediately and actually resold at a later date without any kind of stigma surrounding the boat.
Again, just my opinion for what it's worth (or not).....

Calling it a 2012 model seems a little deceptive too

My guess is they want 40+ for it.

I have the guys number with the boat if anyone really wants it, send me a PM. He said a PQ factory guy was consulted during the build but now seeing the pictures I am not sure who would advise that interior! I will be watching and not biding on that project boat! I think they are looking to get over 40k for it :eekdrop: happy bidding! :cool-smiley-011:

don't forget this does not look to be the updated 380 the last owner built,,this looks to be the older original 380 they had sitting next to the updated one taking measurements from, looks to have the old style stringer set up,

I also like the mismatched dash panels and what looks to be a instrument panel from a 1996 290 PQ
did anybody catch the plastic shore power plug?come on at least use a stainless steel plug,,

oh well, good luck with the sale.

Boatnt, I knew it wouldn't take you long to point out the technical stuff we missed with that keen eye of yours!

That is a poor representation of a once great brand.

Drock78 05-21-2014 09:04 PM

I like the windshield probably the most of the whole boat..

From the earlier auction pics it also looked like the deck had updated air intake vents for the engine bay...

As Pwraddr stated: That is a poor representation of a once great brand.
