We will plan on attending (34' Vyper). West Michigan is fine - we do it every weekend. But would be willing to trailer anywhere in mid west for a fun event!

Question Powerquest Rally

Hi Mandy,

Me and my family want to attend the rally and are
ready to trailer our 2003 340 Vyper. We are coming from
Massapequa, Long Island N.Y. However the last dates I
heard about were AUGUST 13th thru 15th. Well I know
AUGUST is a way off and it is snowing while Im writing
this but in order to get away from business the earlier
I can make this plans the better.

Thanks

Jeff

Mandi,
I vote for West Michigan, or maybe Traverse Bay(in case our favorite body of water is uncooperative) the new city marina has 300 slips, lots of cool stops in the bay or zip up to Charlevoix, Petoskey?

Talking RALLY

FINALLY A PQ RALLY. . I HAVE TALKED TO DIFFERENT PEOPLE OVER THE LAST 7 YEARS ABOUT THIS, AND I AM GLAD TO SEE THAT IT MAY FINALLY TAKE PLACE. LOTO IS FUN BUT NO WHERE NEAR THE FACTORY FOR TOURS. HAS ANY ONE THOUGHT OF ANYWHERE AROUND MICHIGAN CITY IN. CLEAR TO HOLLAND MI. JUST REMEMBER TO KEEP AN EYE ON YOUR DATES NOT TO CONFLICT WITH THE LOTO SHOOTOUT. OR ANY THING ELSE BIG. I LEAVE ONLY 5 HOURS AWAY FROM HOLLAND SO NO BIG PROBLEM FOR US TO SHOW UP. I WOULD LIKE TO SEE BOATS IN THE WATER FOR TEST DRIVES AND TEC. QUESTIONS, THAT HELPS EVERYONE, EVEN IF SOME OF US WON'T ADMIT IT.
I HAVE A 290 KNOW AND WANT TO DRIVE A 38 SO HOPEFULLY THIS WILL WORK OUT. I WOULD ALSO BE GLAD TO HELP IN ANY WAY THAT IS POSSIBLE SO PLEASE KEEP US INFORMED.

I just opened this up and think it is a fantistic idea. I have been into PQ for about 5 years and seldome find others. Out here in Minnesota there just aren't many around. Hell, we don't enen have a dealer. Naturally I would perfer to see this thing on the west side of Michigan but it probally makes sence to have it near the factory. I agree with the idea of having several boats available for test runs. It would be great to compare notes with other owners.
This thing should start Friday night with a casual get togeather, Sat should be a poker run ending at the factory with a party following. Sunday ?????
I have been thinking of trading my Viper in for a 38, what an oppturnity to check it out!!!!

I continue to thank you for all of your input. I have seen several of you at shows over the past few weeks. I have been making my rounds and still many places to go. I have been working on it a little bit in my time off from the road. I do plan to keep it in Michigan. I hope to secure a location in the next month and go from there. Continue to send me info and I will continue to keep you updated.

Thanks,
Mandi

Mandi,
Do you have any firm dates yet? We're thinking of making the trek from Long Island, and would like to start making plans

YEA! I am back.
I finally got my membership purchased and I back from Shows, vacation all that good stuff.

Update on Rally - yes I am still working on putting something together. I am looking at August and do not have the dates nailed down. I am working on a couple different venues right now.
I should have more information by the end of the week.
I will keep you posted.

Mandi
