John are your drives going to be sitting that close together? I love the way that 39 Cig looks.
Yep, the drives will be that close. Actually they are looking into a technique to push them in 3 inches further than the ones in the CIG pic. Here is the engine compartment, it will look about the same too if I stick with the 525s, only it will have tread plate for flooring instead of just the raw stringers.

That will be very cool John it will be nice to get next to your motors wont it. By the way 525s what is that about? Way to small of power you might as well put in a set of 6.2 with that you could at least see 62 mpg on GPS. and just think about how much fuel you will save.

P.S. my 100th post I think I'm becoming a post whore.

We will rename you chatty cathy

Not sure on engines yet. Heard there is an article on the 600s in this months PB in a 38 formula. 83mph. Haven't read it yet, but once again not impressive by Merc. The interesting thing is the boat runs 79-80 with 525s, but only ran 78 in two tests with 575s. Wouldn't that please you, pay a 15k upcharge times 2 and loose a mile per hour. So if I go with Merc power I will likely stick with the 525s and ITS. I'm still looking into the Ilmor option, but not sure by the time you increase price and decrease resale it is really worth it for a couple miles per hour. I am hoping the ITS will get me those couple MPH.

BTW, all I need is enough HP to go 1mph faster than you. 6.2s? Maybe that is enough

Cruel world.

Quest, you can call me Wally..

They are Mirage 3 blades..

Rich, do you remember the pitch? I believe they were the same as what was on your 29 when you traded it. I remember us talking about it but it escapes me...

Bare with me, I only have 10 minutes of run time on the boat.
