Rich, remember the day we raced that baja with 580 hp and extension boxes from Buck's back to party cove - that is the day I caught the chine while making that hard left turn and we got real squirly. We didn't win, but neither did he. I still remember in party cove when he asked what power we had and we told him, and he replied "you need more power." All I thought is evidently I don't need more power to keep up with your sorry a$$.

John
Oh ya that was a fun day that guy was part of that big power Iowa group. Great H.P. but that slow hull design 36 Outlaw.580 H.P. X2 and boxes, up against 385H.P. x 2 and all stock.
The funiest water I've been in was down there when the shootout got done last year.

Last summer down there I ran a 36 Outlaw with 500s and boxes and I did win. Not saying I am that fast but I usually wont back down even if I'm eating there spray.

Stiffy
All I can say is BRING IT , and I am with John the Bigger the water the better. Unless you are scared
By the way I think you should identify your self a little better You know Wally and myself so pay the money tight a$$ and put where you are from and what you boat with.

It is like that every year when the shootout is over. That is why it is so much fun to ride down to Frankie and Louie's after the races get done. Got to go hard to get a parking spot, but it is some real nasty water. If you don't know how to drive you won't get there any too quickly.

Hey Vyper.....it sure looks like Andy is flipping off the helo in your first pic!!

The emblem was done by our local mobile sign shop. They do really great work on all our boats.

Lab finish those 26 four blades and you will pick up a couple mph. Just let everyone know not to hit them with their feet when they are getting on the ladder.

Be forewarned, labbing will most likely make you loose mph at cruise speeds. Yeah, you MIGHT pick up a couple of mph at top end, but could loose as much as 5 mph at 3000 - 4000 rpm's. I don't know about you, but I spend way more time at those rpm's than at WOT!

Four bladers are the sh*t. I experienced the same improvement when I switched props on my 272. I am looking forward to trying some 5 bladers on my 340 this spring.

NT - What did you see from the 4's other then keeping the boat in the water? Seems like a little trim could accomplish that? Or am I missing something? You seem pretty happy with the change so I am guessing there is more to it?? I don't claim to be a prop expert and I did not stay at a holiday inn last night.....
