Did you put the boat on the lift this past weekend. We went down to LOTO to get the condo ready for selling. It was in the 80s Sat, Sunday and today. Just got home about an hour ago. to get ready to watch the game tonight.
The guy with me last Sat out at the ramp splashed his new Chaparral yesterday. Engine goes to 3000 RPM then dies. It actually backfires and stops running. So he can't get on plane. First he is going to try to get the local mechanic to see if the ECM shows a fault code.
Needless to say he is not happy. And he bought it in St Louis so we may have to pull it back down there this Friday.

Not on the lift yet but was out all day yesterday (and I have the sunburn to prove it). The boat got rave reviews so I guess I did alright. Of particular notice was the midrange punch the boat has!!
We did see Jeff (I think thats his name) out there. I ran into him on Friday afternoon up at the storage building, then we stopped and chatted with him on the water yesterday. He revved it up, it smelled pretty rich to us so our guess was some type of fuel problem.
Tough deal to have problems like that but the good thing is its the first week of April so he has time to get it corrected.
I have not tried the lift yet, need to put the padding back on the dock first. Maybe Saturday if the weather cooperates.........
Hey, what were your connections at parkview bay? I need to reserve for the shootout.......
