13 3/4" diameter will carry a 3200lb. 19' boat just fine.

noboat said it best, you don't know till you try it on your boat.

Brett, thank you for the offer.

I have been clutching snowmobiles for many years, and propping a boat is very similar in theory. Trying to get maximum power to the ground/water while keeping your motor at the target rpm. One big difference though, the ATTITUDE of the boat and how a prop carries it! I will keep trying different props until I find the right one. Hopefully the M+ 25 works well. Funny, that was the first prop I wanted to try and several people talked me out of it!

I got the Mirage 25 today. Threw it on and the inside of the prop was hitting my drive! Wow I was pissed but after a quick check I realized it was hitting two bolts holding an anode onto the drive. Removed the anode and it's all good.

Wish me luck!

So with the diameter reduction, followed by RPM increase you will need to compensate and increase pitch on the Lazer II.

I agree Julie, I was thinking that a L2 would need 1" additional pitch to pull the same RPM as a M+.

Just got off the water and the M+ 25 was no faster than my Viper 23. Lower rpm obviously but no more speed. I am starting to wonder if that's all my boat has for speed. Viper still feels the most stable.

This is getting very frustrating!
