Prop Question for 26' Nova Spyder
Just Purchased 1988 Wellcraft Nova Spyder W/ Twin 350 Mags. It Has Some Engine Mods, Just Not Exactly Sure What They Are. I'm Guessing Maybe 300 Hp Each.
Engines Turn About 4,800 To 5,000 Depending On Load.
Is That About Right Or Should I Step In Pitch. Current Props MIRAGE 22 Pitch.

Re: Prop Question for 26' Nova Spyder
Since it looks like i need to step up to 23p props. According to the boat specs this boat weighs 5300 lbs, is the mirage a good prop for this boat.

Re: Prop Question for 26' Nova Spyder
Mirage propellers are often the best props for your boat. They allow the most bow lift and typically have the best top end speed. Bravo 1 propellers will give you better cruise speeds and put you on plane a little faster as well as keep you on plane at lower rpms.
Mirage propellers don't come in 22 pitch. Look at the part number on the prop to determine if it is a 21 or 23 pitch casting. You should be able to step up in pitch 1-2 inches.
